About
I believe that a space only becomes a place when it begins to tell a story. As a graduating designer from Morgan State University, my work is driven by the intersection of human emotion and the unique identity of a site. I don’t just design structures, I curate the experiences that happen within them.
To me, design is a sensory journey. I focus on how light, form, color, access, and materiality can evoke specific emotional responses as a user moves through a space, turning a simple transit into a memorable moment. However, great design must also be grounded. By leaning into the principles of placemaking, I strive to create environments that feel deeply connected to their context, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
Whether I am working on a small-scale installation or a large-scale urban intervention, my goal remains the same: to design purposeful spaces that resonate with the people who use them and honor the ground they stand on.
My love for design began long before I picked up a stylus, rooted in a childhood spent building with Bill Dings, Lincoln Logs, Legos, K’nex, and elaborate Rube Goldberg machines. This early drive to create and problem solve has shaped my perspective, turning a natural curiosity into a professional mission to build things that inspire.
